On January 27th I walked around Ludlow with a view to getting this project off the ground. I had set the best part of the day aside as I had no idea how long it would take. As it turned out it did not take long at all. I asked ten people if they would mind being photographed and all said yes.
Please let me introduce you to the people I met during my morning.

Tim of Mackenzie & Smith, Fine Furniture Restoration. Their delightful workshop looks out onto the Bullring through period bay windows.

Andrew, of Trevor Lloyd Book Restoration is hand stitching the binding of an old manuscript.

Steve, a keen photographer is today manning the stand for the Woodland Trust

Helen of Hellie Bakes Cakes is also braving the cold to offer hot soup and home made cakes to market visitors.

Hector just rearranging the fresh local pheasants outside his butchers shop.

Cassy and Matt are students of Ludlow College.

Matthew can be found every day in the town centre providing baked potatoes with a variety of delicious toppings. Most welcome on a cold day.

I bumped into John going about his business. He had popped into Ludlow for the morning.

Vaughans Sandwich & Salad Bar has been a popular place to pick up hot pork and Ludlow sausage sandwiches for more than ten years now.

Mr Farmer of Farmer's Market, as good a place as any to pick up local fresh produce.
